We are Train of Thought, a rookie FIRST Tech Challenge team. Our team is comprised of eight homeschoolers between the ages of 13 and 18.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an organization which promotes science and technology to students in a fun and challenging way.
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics program for children between 7th and 12th grade. This year's game is "Res-Q", which challenges kids to build a robot that can move derbis from the playing field, rescue plastic mountain climbers, and climb a "mountain." Preparing for the competitions reqiures a great amount of time, research, skill, creativity, imagination, and teamwork.
